Lincoln National Corporation, Hartford, CT, seeks a Business Systems Analyst to provide direction on moderate to complex assignments supporting the day-to-day production activities, business work requests, enhancements and project related initiatives. Determine efficient and cost effective solutions to fulfill the business requirements and ensure consistency across administrative systems. Analyze, design, test and implement solutions into production. Analyze business customers queries and provide solutions to processing issues, enhancements and solutions. Perform monthly table interest rate changes for Fusion, utilizing Product Wizard, and Concord Vantage utilizing table reformatter/maintenance. Perform problem solving analysis, production support enhancement of design projects and strategic initiatives, and compliance support for Enterprise initiatives. Gather requirements and develop design solutions and recommendations to fulfill business requirements. Utilize Vantage One for system tables, functionality and processing. Develop and maintain Vantage and LifeComm platforms for Annuity and Term insurance. Utilize time sharing option (TSO), SQL Processing Using File (SPUFI) and Query Management Facility (QMF) to develop queries and build queries based on extracting data from administrative platforms by navigating time sharing option. Create and execute test plans throughout unit, system, regression and Model Office phases. Identify opportunities for automating manual processes, recommendations to streamline workflows creating efficiencies and enhancing customer experiences and reducing expenses. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Electronics Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 4 years of experience with: (i) Vantage One system environment; (ii) LifeComm platforms; (iii) TSO, SPUFI and QMF to develop queries; (iv) DB2 and VSAM; and (v) development of design solutions and recommendations to fulfill business requirements.
