The Syracuse Biologics Manufacturing operation produces clinical, commercial and launch biologics drug substance at its 5000L scale manufacturing facility (mammalian cell process) in Syracuse, NY.

The primary role of the Materials Technician is to perform functions relevant to Warehouse activities in all Supply Chain warehouse locations across the Syracuse Site.


 Responsibilities:

1. Accurate receipt and unpacking of all process related direct inventory materials, indirect supplies, miscellaneous equipment, and material transfers. 

2. Including wipe down processes, SAP transactions, and proper storage adherence.

3. Maintain clean working environment, including material handling equipment.

4. Material transfers and movements from location to location.

5. Proper disposal of material. Disposition labeling and segregation of inventoried materials.

6. Maintain accurate and detailed logs-cleaning, scale, dispensing, cold storage, equipment, etc.

7. Perform environmental monitoring for the ISO 8 and ISO 5 environments in the SCM sampling areas. Including LIMS sample data entry.  

8. Act as Dedicated Trainer for applicable processes
