At Inglis we are committed to enabling people with physical disabilities to achieve their goals and to live their lives to the fullest. With over 130 years experience providing services for people with physical disabilities in the Philadelphia, PA area, we constantly look for new approaches and opportunities to meet the needs and desires of our mission population. Our operational approach is decentralized, team-based and customer focused - with each staff member always working toward improved quality and efficiency. The Inglis organization promotes mutual respect, so that employees and consumers alike experience individual fulfillment and a sense of self worth.
Inglis provides a continuum of services to people with physical disabilities – from Inglis House, our long-term care facility for 297 adults with physical disabilities, to our community-based programs – Inglis Adult Day Program, Inglis Care Management and Inglis Housing Corporation.
In particular, Inglis Community Employment Services or ICES has programs contracted by state and private organizations to provide job readiness training for people with disabilities, including placement in real jobs.
