Primary Responsibilities:

  • Take inbound calls from members

  • Review their information in the EMR system

  • Update member records accurately if needed

  • Document all of your work throughout the day

  • You must be available at all times to communicate with your team members

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of customer service experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a call center environment

  • Ability to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to navigate a PC to open applications, send emails, and conduct data entry
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with the Healthcare Industry

  • Experience working with Healthcare Insurance

  • Professional experience in a clerical or administrative support related role

  • Working knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate with members and providers

  • Experience working with ICD-9 / 10 and CPT codes

  • Experience working with Medicare and / or Medicaid Services
