Description
Responsibilties:
·Develop software applications and SDKs for Toughbook computer and its components
·Perform software components test and provide test results in timely manner
·Review, and evaluates interface documentation, specifications, test plans and procedures
·Document designs and requirements in engineering documents including functional block diagrams and data/logic flow charts
·Manage internal SW team technical deliverables as required
·Seek understanding of goals of cross-organizational team members to help the team as a whole succeed
·Maintain a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in services and tools
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experiences
·Experience in developing applications in C++ / C# in Windows environment
·Understand software design and be familiar with software lifecycles
·Attention to detail is expected
·Strong desire to work in a dynamic team environment
·Strong desire to get outside of the box and explore solutions from a variety of perspectives and make appropriate technical tradeoffs
·Must work quickly, creatively & decisively, delivering solutions according to product / project requirements
·BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Desired Skills and Experiences
·Experience using Linux platforms and programming in Linux environment
·Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript, VBScript
·Excellent communication & presentation skills
·Software quality assurance skill
