The Global Marketing team is responsible for creating and communicating HP''s brand strategy and positioning internally and externally.   As the company continues to evolve, HP''s Global Marketing team plays a critical role working across HP''s various businesses to define and communicate a consistent HP experience.

We are looking for a leader to develop and build the Digital Product Management team.  This leader will be responsible for working across HP to define, prioritize, plan, and ensure delivery of digital features across HP''s web presence.  The Director will create and manage the go-forward roadmap for HP''s web presence which includes managing creation of business cases/plans, aligning across functional and business teams, organizing program/project governance, optimizing business processes, and implementing best practices for project execution and prioritization.  Our goal is to create a world-class HP digital experience across HP.com, mobile, and social platforms.  The Director of Digital Product Management guides that process, working with the business teams to prioritize and with the development and design teams to deliver upon the capabilities and user experience required to achieve the goal.

This individual will manage a team of product owners - both through a direct reporting relationship and a dotted-line reporting relationship.  The Product Owner team will work closely with customers and with Digital Experts across HP''s business units, Global Marketing, Information Technology, and the Office of Digital Strategy design, development, delivery, and analytics teams to successfully prioritize and deliver digital features our customers need.

This role will report to the Vice President of the Office of Digital Strategy.

Responsibilities:

·         Act as an advocate for our customers - ensuring HP''s digital customers intuitively achieve their desired intent, whether it is to obtain product information, purchase a product, obtain support, or just learn about and connect with HP

·         Drive the full digital product development cycle in collaboration with Business Marketing, Design, Development, Deployment, Analytics, and Information Technology

·         Build and manage a team of product and project managers responsible for delivery of digital projects and capabilities from idea to execution

·         Direct a highly talented team of digital product owners to create a unified product roadmap for HP.com, guiding product strategy and feature prioritization to create the best experience for HP''s customers

·         Lead the Digital Strategy Project Management Office to ensure on-time delivery and achievement of product roadmap business objectives

·         Manage relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring full alignment around the digital product roadmap

·         Clearly communicate progress against plans, realized business objectives, future state roadmap, and expected impact to both business stakeholders and the Digital Strategy Leadership team

·         Work cross-functionally to constantly update, refine, and execute against the digital product roadmap

·         Ensure that market research and competitive analysis inform digital product and prioritization decisions

·         Actively govern digital portfolio process to prioritize new project requests, striking a balance across innovation, foundational updates, and KPIs (key performance indicators)

·         Work closely with IT during annual and quarterly planning to ensure alignment between Digital Roadmap investments and IT digital capability investments

·         Ensure HP''s web presence is driving towards set revenue, traffic, and other KPI targets in a persistent and measurable way

·         Implement product owner methodologies and toolkits that are used universally across the product owner team and are well-understood by business stakeholders

Education and Experience

·         First level university degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced university degree preferred - MBA or Masters of Science

·         Minimum 10 years of related work experience in a senior product management, engineering, or technology strategy role, including 5 or more years of people management experience
