LOCATION WILL BE IN KERNERSVILLE NC
Performs all functions related to the general maintenance, inspection, repair, operation of facility equipment, physical plant and support systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Work experience: 5+ yearâ??s experience performing plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare facility. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Extensive knowledge in the operation and repair of equipment and systems used in a healthcare facility. Thorough knowledge in reading, understanding and interpreting blue prints. Ability to evaluate systems for performance improvement. Applied knowledge in the application and practice of life safety and building codes. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Ability to successfully apply customer service standards. Valid NC drivers license.
