The Behavioral Health Access Coordinator s Number One Job responsibility is to deliver the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time, and understand how he or she contributes to the health system s vision of achieving that commitment to patients and families. The Behavioral Health Access Coordinator is responsible for assessment, evaluation and triage for all mental health referrals to Presbyterian Hospital. Coordinates admission and referral processes. Provides consultation and assessment for appropriate level of care to other clinical areas of Presbyterian Healthcare System.
Graduate of an accredited program. Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field with NC Licensure which allows for independent clinical practice preferred or Registered Nurse with current NC licensure. Work Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical practice with a broad based background in multiple aspects of psychiatry and mental health, experience with emergency services and crisis assessments preferred. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient s age.
