LOCATION WILL BE IN WINSTON SALEM NC
The Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Counselor conducts and coordinates the evaluation, assessment, referral and disposition of all persons presenting for mobile crisis services.
Graduate of an accredited program. Masters Degree in a Behavioral Health field with North Carolina Licensure / Certification which allows independent clinical practice or a Masters degree individual who has passed the licensure exam for their field and/or has less than 6 months remaining to meet licensing requirements. LCSW or LCAS/CSAC strongly preferred. Work experience: Masters Degree in a Behavioral Health field must have 1 year of postmasters behavioral health experience and Developmental Disabilities experience preferred. CCAS, CCS, or CSAC preferred. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in providing crisis management services in the following settings: Assertive Outreach, Intensive In Home Services, Emergency Department and/or other 24/7 emergency or urgent settings. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patients age. Has ability to interpret information and identify each patients requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
