Description
Performs professional accounting duties and analysis of financial data of a complex nature in support of various accounting functions that may include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Property Accounting, and/or General Accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-4 years professional experience in one or more areas of accounting with a high level of analytical ability.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, financial analysis software and financial systems.
- PeopleSoft experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize the use of technology and systems to communicate and to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Some experience in implementing accounting systems, methods, procedures and controls.
- Demonstrated ingenuity and initiative to identify non-recurring problems, coordinate problem resolution, resolve conflicting priorities and to meet assignment deadlines within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with good verbal, presentation and listening skills.
- Evidence of good organization and project planning skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily, some degree of leadership ability.
- Commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Company''s Code of Business Conduct and other Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
