Prerequisites
BS/BA required, MBA preferred.  Previous Management Experience Required.
Summary
The Senior Director of National Accounts Management is responsible for leading and directing the efforts of the National Accounts Management team in relation to wholesaler service agreements, group purchasing activities, physician networks and contracting for product life cycle management.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

•  Responsible for the development and implementation of economic, pricing and contracting
strategies for US commercial markets including Managed Care Insurance organizations,
HMOs, PBMs, GPOs, VA/DoD, Physician Networks and Specialty Pharmacies

•  Develop and manage contracting tools that enhance sales efforts while maintaining financial
discipline

•  Develop systems and processes to evaluate the effectiveness of contracting strategies

•  Implement  adjustments when necessary to respond to the dynamic market place

•  Provide timely market place feedback and analysis to appropriate Celgene Management
regarding customer business trends, competitive situations and industry issues

•  Advise Celgene Management of contracting opportunities to expand market share

•  Responsible for the hiring, training, development, evaluating, and motivation of direct reports

•  Collaborate with Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, PSC, Sales Operations, Regulatory,
Legal, Finance, Technical Operations, QA and Human Resources to ensure a seamless
proactive Celgene approach with our customers and patients

•  Ensure that the National Account Management Team adheres to all Celgene regulatory and
promotional policies and procedures

•  Close alignment with Celgene Customer Care Center and Compliance to ensure key
Corporate Accounts are compliant within the S.T.E.P.S. /RevAssist program and policies

•  Proactive and efficient budget management

Skills/Knowledge Required:

•  Minimum 2 years of product management & contracting management administration

•  Minimum of 5-7 years of Regional/District Sales Management  or Corporate departmental
management responsibilities in the pharmaceutical field (preferred oncology/hematology
or specialty field)

•  Previous financial analyst experience

•  Successful sales and/or operational in line product sales management along with new
product/indication launches and product lifecycle management

•  20-25% travel required
