Responsible for contributing to the completion of multiple engagement phases. Delegate team work assignments through various phases of an engagement. Demonstrate capabilities with minimal oversight. May manage projects from prospect to client deliverable.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Delegates creation of work products among team members and ensures delivery of the completed items.
Transfers knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve others’ knowledge and skill levels.
Consultant Capability
Enhances established working relationships with team members and management from within the client’s organization.
Contributes to quality review on assigned engagements.
Maintains credibility and facilitates acceptance of solutions through effective discussions with various levels of client staff and management.
Supports management and/or Secures receivables from clients during and after completion of engagements.
Ascertains and meets client expectations within scope of engagement role.
Technology Solutions: Uses recognized methods to deliver work products, in all of the following areas of an engagement lifecycle: Analysis, Design, Construction or Integration Testing, System Testing, Implementation, Support and Maintenance.
Process Engagements: Develops applicable knowledge bases by using best practices to redefine tools and techniques. Outlines specific performance measures, targets, and goals to articulate the business case for realized efficiencies or added value.
Strategy Engagements: Challenges client’s current strategy and direction through persuasive argument. Defines competitive advantage and achievable value to the client through use of the strategic change components and metrics. Formulates issue-based hypotheses and develops analytical plan for testing. Contributes to analysis of impact of strategic changes by defining linkages and interdependencies.
Project Management Capability
Manages client expectations within defined scope of engagement.
Recommends appropriate resources based on the phases of an assignment.
Delegates work to assigned team.
Uses defined processes and practices in assessing engagement risks.
Manages engagement issues in at least two phases of a project
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 7 years experience in business/consulting.
Preferred Job Qualifications Knowledge of a complete engagement lifecycle.
Advanced technical knowledge in utility industry consulting for the independent engineering solution set of BV EMS.
Knowledge base in two or more solution areas.
Advanced knowledge of customers in one or more target industries.
Proficiency in one aspect of consulting processes.
Advanced human relations skills.
Ability to understand team functions and lead operation in an engagement environment.
Ability to operate multiple software packages.
Advanced PC literacy.
