Description
Under limited supervision a Hospital Solutions Project Manager will work directly with our customers, our customer''s HIS software vendors and our customer''s Information Technology and business personnel as well as with our internal development, coding, Quality Assurance, support and management teams. The Project Manager''s role is to ensure the smooth deployment of our products and services in various disparate customer locations. Project Managers report to the Manager of Project Management. This role will be in our Health Information space, Hospital environment working on a large billing system.
Strong Technical Knowledge of:
* Healthcare domain and/or technology software deployment experience.
* Healthcare information transfer standards, specifically HL7 and CDA
* A working knowledge of electronic medical record systems (EMR), hospital information systems (HIS), billing companies, medical record coding or auditing a plus.
* MS Product Suite: Excel, Word, Project, Access
Qualifications
* 5 or more years Project Management experience in a large enterprise environment (Fortune 200)
* 5 or more years of technical experience in one or more aspects of Information Systems Development or Business / Information Systems areas
* 5 or more years of experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project management
* PMP Certified
Assets:
* Business Analysis project management
* Budget tracking and complex cost benefit analysis
* Very strong understanding of distributed technologies & architecture
* Solid understanding of mainframe technologies
* C-level interface and presentation skills
* Solid analytical, problem-solving and financial analysis skills.
* Proficiency in computer software such as Project, Power Point, Excel and Mini Tab
* Healthcare insurance background is a strong plus
* Big 4 or Professional Services experience
