Amazons Free Search Traffic Team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager of SEO Analytics to revolutionize the way Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is analyzed and managed for all of Amazon.coms worldwide retail businesses. You will need to be a sharp business analyst as well as a pragmatic visionary who can identify business requirements and help drive our development team to translate them into incremental product roadmaps. You will also need to be a clear and persuasive communicator, evangelizing of the value of our products driving their adoption and success amongst our internal customers.
The successful candidate will be someone who relishes diving deep and discovering the interplay of the many various signals in search traffic. The candidate will enjoy redefining the key metrics of Free Search, building hypotheses to drive those metrics, defining methodologies to test the hypotheses, and analyzing the impacts of the tests. The candidate will also excel at building and communicating business cases to develop products to automate and productionize the successful tests.
Responsibilities
* Engage with Amazon category leaders, global businesses, subsidiaries and other key internal stakeholders to turn their free search analytics and management needs into concrete product requirements.
* Work with the Free Search engineering team to translate requirements into rapid iterations of the SEO analytics platform in an agile environment in which decisions are made through a smart balance of creative thinking and hard data.
* Build relationships with external third-parties to license technology where it makes sense to buy rather than build.
* Redefine / Evolve the key performance metrics of Free Search and communicate them regularly to WW Traffic and Retail leadership
* Define the long-term SEO analytics product vision.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years in project/product management
* High attention to detail and proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Independent and Entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership
* MBA or Masters in Mathematics or related field
