Description
Responsible for gathering data and providing basic analysis work products which contribute to the completion of an engagement phase
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Consultant Capability:
Contributes to the production of reports with analysis.
Pursues engagement objectives.
Contributes to the development of improved consulting methods and tools.
Technology solutions: uses recognized methods to deliver work products, within an engagement phase, in one of the following portions of a system: Analysis, Design, report writing, technical evaluations, and financial projections.
Industry Knowledge Capability:
Conducts analysis and distills key issues using basic analysis methods and tools for a given subject area.
Applies appropriate technical methods or recognized equivalent in completing assignments.
Provides professional judgment based on industry knowledge in discussing ideas and seeking necessary approvals.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science engineering, preferably mechanical. Some business background helpful.
Preferred Job Qualifications Ability to develop technical knowledge in at least one target industry. Ability to develop technical knowledge in at least one solution area. Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work Problem solving skills such as identify factors and research. Decision making abilities such as provide insight on issues of more than one dimension. Human relations skills including collaboration and team functions. Proficient oral and written presentation skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other generally accepted software for the business. PC literacy with applied knowledge.
