We''re embarking on a multi-year journey to redefine and strengthen HP''s collective marketing assets: messages, programs, core processes & tools, supplier network, and marketing talent. As a result, we need people with a strategic mindset, collaborative spirit, inventive passion, and operational rigor to drive new levels of marketing efficiency and effectiveness across HP.
* Initiate current-state marketing talent management baseline using internal sources (VoW), Financial and HR systems as well as 3rd party research as needed
* Organize and assess data, outcomes, gap analysis, risk and opportunity detailResearch, document, educate senior leadership on best practices in managing and retaining world-class marketing talent
* Secure requisite benchmarking detail to advise senior leadership on staffing (marketing) fundamentals and / or risk areas
* Develop comprehensive proposal to energize incumbent marketing talent with needed training to prepare for future marketing opportunities
* Launch and manage HP Marketing Fellowship rotational program to identify emerging leaders
* Support the development and deployment of pan-HP employee engagement programs
* Establish strategies and deploy actions to attract new talent and covert HP into the place to be for the world''s top marketing leaders and practitioners
* Celebrate HP''s Marketing Excellence by building a strong reward and recognition program
* Inspire a strong marketing culture and community across HP
Qualifications
* Position is based in Palo Alto, California
* 10+ years in Change Leadership, Talent Management, Business Effectiveness or Marketing roles
* 2+ years in research and / or analytics role with clear understanding of how to source and interpret associated talent data
* BA or BS degree in business management, corporate strategy, organizational design & effectiveness or related field; MBA a plus
* Demonstrated personal and professional effectiveness leading global initiatives across a complex and matrixed landscape
* Exceptional communications (written and verbal) and proposal development skills; demonstrated experience framing content for an executive-level audience
* Advanced program / project management skills, capabilities and track record
* Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills
