Customer Serviceman
Job Responsibilities:
This position will serve the Hattiesburg / Laurel service area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Reading meters
* Setting and removing meters from the field
* Performing collections activities on delinquent accounts in the field
* Assisting customers with energy assessments and general information about their electric service accounts
* Perform assigned activities during storm restoration
* On occasion support utilitymen and Electric Servicemen.
Job Requirements:
* Candidates must be a team player and be customer focused.
* Candidates must have customer service experience.
* Candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
* Candidates should possess windows based PC skills.
* Candidates must be able to perform work activities outside in any type of weather conditions.
* Must be able to work Storm Restoration Duty.
Preferred Job Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
* Candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of customer service along with the desire and experience to provide good customer service.
* Prefer that candidates possess a basic knowledge of electricity.

* It is preferred that candidates have demonstrated a solid track record of versatility, flexibility, initiative, dependability, time management skills, adaptability, and multi-task in work assignments.
* Candidates must have the ability and desire to work within a team environment.
