The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Manager, Retail for our Marketing Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary:
The team will be focusing on strategy implementation, driving a culture shift and improving sales productivity throughout our store locations. TWC will be making a significant capital investment to evolve our store portfolio by launching new flagship retail-oriented stores and improving existing locations. This person will be responsible for the below listed job duties. This will allow the management team to stay focused on PSU goals, strategic initiatives / deployment and overall performance of these channels.
Essential Job Functions:
-Becoming familiar Best Buy program and sales technique to sell our product & services in Big Box retail environment
-Develop business requirements for various initiatives and coordinate vendor RFP processes and assessment.
-Responsible for the reporting and analytics for the Company-Owned Stores business; compile, analyze, build and maintain channel reporting on a consistent basis.
-Ensure quality assurance for both internal and external stores; mystery shopping, score cards, etc.
-Provide event coordination for store events; grand openings, promotional launches, etc.
-Develop project plans, spearhead initiatives and lead cross-functional team communication within both retail businesses for these initiatives.
Job Requirements:
-Travel required 25% expected
-Excellent written and oral communications skills.
-Retail Experience in Consumer Electronics
-Expertise in Project Management
-Branding/Product Launch Expertise
-Expert Presentation/Reporting
-Marketing Analytics
Education and Experience:
-Bachelors Degree
-0-3 years of relevant leadership experience
-Ability to relate to retail/in-store personnel.
-Approachable and willing to build a personal relationship.
-Self-sufficient in managing their day to day responsibilities and quick to take the lead on new initiatives.
-4-6 years of total relevant work experience
-Ability to resolve our customers (region/divisional personnel) issues related to the stores.
-Deep understanding of the facets to manage Retail Store Operations
