Position Description

The Facilities Janitor I are responsible, under the direction of the Facilities Team leader, to maintain the cleanliness of the facility and laundering of lab coats.

Position Responsibilities

- Responsible for cleaning and restocking of all restrooms, break room, executive and administrative areas of the facility.
- Remove all trash from building and outside receptacles daily, ensure all receptacles are clean.
- Ensure all parking lots and grounds are clean by removing trash and blowing off driveways.
- Relocates, moves, dust and adjusts office furniture as necessary.
- Follow daily work list as assigned by Facilities Manager and Team leader.
- Responsible for laundering of clean room lab coats.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all Facilities, clean room SOPs and the Site Quality System.

Basic Qualifications

A minimum of one year of cleaning experience.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

- Must have basic cleaning knowledge.
- Specific knowledge of cleaning products is required.
- Must have basic knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets.

Physical Job Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.
