Description
Conducts training courses that comply with applicable regulations and requirements to train plant and other employees in specialties such as Chemistry, Engineering or other disciplines/areas (General Employee, Radworker Training, etc.) Develop, maintains, improves and delivers training courses. Develop course materials and instructional aids to support lesson plans. Participates in all phases of training system development process and related analyses. May function as program lead. May provide direction to less experienced instructors. Perform other duties as requested or assigned. Responsible for coordinating training activities with other instructors and other groups in accordance with the accredited training processes and applicable codes and regulations. Delivery of training will occur in a variety of settings including classroom, laboratory, or on-the-job. Individual should be a self starter, motivated to make a positive difference, have high standards, and a desire to improve overall station performance.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a technical field (e.g., Math, Physical Sciences specialty, Engineering) or equivalent education and/or experience. Eight or more years nuclear technical training experience. Instructor certification desired. Previous nuclear plant technical experience is desirable.
