Time Warner Cable Southern California Operations-West Region currently seeks a Financial Operations Analyst for our West Region Payment Services Department. This position is based out of the El Segundo, CA office. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing analytical support for the Payment Services group including new subscriber on-boarding metrics, payment processing metrics, policy compliance metrics, bad debt and revenue related metrics, and equipment related metrics. This position will be responsible for developing annual budgets and monthly forecasts for segments of subscribers and bad debt and for maintaining monthly KPIs to identify operational inefficiencies, and suggesting areas of improvement. This position will also be responsible for generating and presenting cost-benefit analysis on a per-project basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Analyze collections metrics based on daily operations and recommend solutions for the successful achievement of department and company objectives. Results of performance metrics analysis will be provided to area leadership teams with recommendations for performance improvement alternatives.
Develop financial and operational models.
Review monthly operational and financial reports to ensure that organizational and financial objectives are met. Identify discrepancies and research solutions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to produce financial and operational reports, forecasts, and budgets with explanations and recommendations.
Identify revenue growth and cost savings opportunities through analysis of key business factors and operations including revenue and expense trends and programs, cost analysis, new business opportunities, and statistical trending.
Assist in the review and analysis of operational and fiscal internal controls and processes.
Budget / Outlook

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, computer science, or engineering. Minimum two years experience in an analytical / financial environment.
Experience involving financial modeling skills (NPV, IRR, and breakeven) and an understanding of accounting principles, including solid analytical, logical, and interpretive decision-making fundamentals.
Demonstrate ability to interpret data and processes and to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining consistent performance.
Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills adaptable to all levels of the organization, including senior management.
Prior experience in telecommunications industry a plus.
Advanced Excel and Access skills. Query Utilization, SQL, and SQR reporting tools. Relational database experience required.
Demonstrate detail orientation and prioritization and time management skills, to ensure work-related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment.
