Time Warner Cable's East Region is seeking PT Outbound Collections Representatives for their Raleigh, NC Collections department. Please find below a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Shift: M-F (5pm-8pm); Sat (9am-2pm)

Essential Job Functions:

Assist with subscriber saves through outbound collection reminder calls on the Predictive dialer. Close and save account at point of contact.

Resolve account disputes, payment, billing and collection related concerns raised by past due customers and resolve issues to customers satisfaction.

Handle payment status inquiries and provide payment information including payment options and locations to payment centers.

Work with accounts in pending soft disconnect status to save customers and avoid service interruption.

Set up payment arrangements, extensions and EPPs in line with approved division extension policy.

Process and post payments over the phone using acceptable methods of payment including but not limited to credit cards, checks over the phone and electronic debits.

Handle complaints relating to late fees, collection charges, billing adjustments and other related concerns.

Contact customers with unreturned equipment to schedule equipment recovery and dispatch FedEx equipment return package.

Meet performance standards for contact rate, handle time and other productivity measures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

A proven track record in school or work experience in working with people in a collections or call center environment required.

Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills required.

Background/experience that indicates dependability, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast paced environment required.

Flexibility to work outside normally scheduled hours to satisfy customer needs required.

Excellent verbal communication skills required.

Good interpersonal as well as organizational skills required.

Ability to multi-task in a high energy, fast paced call center environment required.

Experience/Skills Required:

Some proficiency in personal computer software applications, automated billing systems, automated dialer equipment and telephone equipment are preferred.

Requires adherence to Time Warner Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.
