Description
Description Job Functions:
*Provide sales support to the Investment Specialist(s)*
A. Assist Investment Specialist(s) reach assigned HIS sales volume/revenue goals
B. Contact existing customers and prospects to schedule appointments
C. Assist customers with paperwork and account information
D. Work with bank personnel to increase sales through referral opportunities
E. Attend scheduled Hancock Bank and HIS sales meetings and events
*Execute administrative tasks*
A. Create and maintain client files
B. Assure senior investment specialist has all forms available
C. Request all needed supplies through home office
D. Handle various projects as needed.
*Grow with licensing and training*
A. Learn to assess customer needs and discuss products offered by HIS
B. Make sales with and without the aid of an Investment Specialist
*Process paperwork*
A. Verify trades and execute orders
B. Verify all the proper forms have been submitted for each type of investment/account
C. Set up new accounts

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing using the English language
Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Ability to learn new products and sales techniques as necessary
Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures required for this position
Ability to learn to understand and communicate all investment products and procedures of the company
Ability to obtain and maintain life and securities licenses
Basic computer skills to utilize Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. to produce correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and to communicate using email
Intermediate skill in communicating on a 1-to-1 basis and before groups for the purpose of obtaining or providing information
Ability to deal objectively with individuals whose attitudes and behaviors differ from him/herself
Interpersonal skills sufficient to create and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and internal/external customers
Ability to identify selling opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell bank products and services
Ability to interact with individuals of widely divergent lifestyles
