Position Description:
Position located in Dahlgren, VA
Responsible for all hardware and software CM functions to include the control of documentation. Initial focus will be on the transtion of CM tools from CM Vision to Serena Dimensions CM. Positon will also be responsible for documenting CM processes and plans. Responsible for management and control of the CM baseline for AFSSS MPS/ASCC. Ensure compliance with all configuration management possesses, policy and procedures. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining the program CM baseline for the VHF Fence.
' Manages and generates software builds and make files in a UNIX environment.
' Manages build libraries and analyzes build output for errors.
' Control classified media and documentation to support version releases
' Provide CM for development and maintenance programs.
' Establishing and managing software, hardware and documentation baselines.
' Audit new release software builds and code for accuracy using Software Turnover Notices
' Manages Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), Configuration Audit
' Develop document deliverables and meeting schedule deadlines.
' Maintaining Change Control for all Change Requests (CR), Problem Reports (PR) and Standard Change Forms (SCF).
' Develop CM status reports.
' Coordinate with relevant project personnel to facilitate obtaining all changes and deliverables for each Project.
' Control and track changes to Product Baselines including software, hardware, documentation and drawings from project inception to project closeout.
' Maintaining and controlling engineering drawings.
' Providing Software Development Folders (SDF) for the engineering staff.
' Creating and maintaining version description documents (VDD).
' Performing Functional Configuration Audit/Physical Configuration Audit (FCA/PCA).
Experience Requirements:
Minimum: BS plus 5 yrs experience; MS plus 3 yrs
Must be computer proficient in MS Office products
' Familiar with the software development life cycle.
' Familiar with programming languages. C and Fortran a plus.
' Experience with complex applications in a UNIX with Oracle environment a plus
' Proficient with application and database installations. Oracle 10 a plus.
' Proficient with Version Control tools and techniques. Serena Dimensions CM a plus. IEEE or DoD standards or models a plus.
' Proficient with scripting in a UNIX environment. Korn or Pearl a plus. Familiarity scripting tool APIs a plus.
' Familiar with CM tool migrations.
' Familiar with working in classified environments.
' Proficient with producing timely and accurate reports
' Familiarity with the CM Vision tool is desirable.
' Familiarity with Serena Dimensions CM tool is highly desireable
Minimum: Must be a US citizen. Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Relevant equivalent experience may apply.
