We are currently looking for a Program Manageer to provide program management for full life-cycle development of custom communications equipment, including definition of system requirements, generation of system and component specifications, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment phases. Will work closely with Software Engineers, Systems Engineers and Technical Project Leads.
This position is ideal for candidates desiring to focus on management of technical development for National programs. The majority of work will be conducted in our secure facilities in Dulles, VA. Opportunities will exist for individuals to work closely with existing U.S. Government customers, as well as supporting business development activities.
Experience Requirements:
Responsibilities:
' Responsible for full life cycle technical program management of government programs.
' Lead a technical team of 5-7 software/hardware engineers on development projects from the establishment of requirements through the delivery of the product/service.
' Serve as the lead customer interface in regard to program status and managing the satisfaction of the customer to leverage new and repeated business.
' Conducts reviews of program performance and provides status information to the customer and management in a timely manner.
' Manage budgets and capital for the timely delivery of required engineering products per customer requirements.
' Experience writing white papers and proposals.
' Conduct contract closeouts.
' Bidding and proposals (B&P).
' Project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resourcing.
Requirements:
' BS in Electrical Engineering or BS Computer Science required. Master's preferred.
' 7-10 years experience in a government related technical program management role.
' Technical background in real-time software development for custom hardware platforms. (C, C++, embedded software experience a plus).
Track record of completing projects on time and on budget.
' Experience within the Wireless and Communication field highly desired.
' Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
' Clearance required- Secret or TS (SCI preferred).
