Description
Work closely with the IT team and business partners to deliver new infrastructure, applications, and operational process. Coordinate with product and support teams for the planning, development, and implementation of infrastructure (Servers, storage, software), and the operational workflow (Batch scheduling using UC4/Appworx).
Project manages infrastructure needs such as server migrations, software upgrades which will require detailed documentation and communication within the organization.
Responsibilities
Support multiple projects related to the delivery of the provisioning and operation integration within our infrastructure and batch scheduling environment. (UC4/Appworx)
Responsible for providing implementation and integration testing of products as related to infrastructure and operational components.
Provide backup support for the operations lead which includes the automation , support, and implementation of operational processes.
Establish a relationship with other project and development teams, and assisting with the development testing and implementation of new products, processes, and procedures into productions.
Qualifications
BS/BA computer science or related discipline. Generally 2-3 yrs experience in the workings of a batch operations environment.
A minimum of 3 years experience with Sun Solaris (10 and above), with a minimum of 3 years experience developing Unix SH and Perl scripting, Oracle PL/SQL.
Understanding of MS-SQL server, Windows server environments (MCP Cert a plus)
