Job Description and Requirements
Our Strategic Value Advisory group applies risk management strategies and techniques to management problems. We provide our clients with leading practices, gap analysis, process and control recommendations and documentation and help with evaluation of key business processes to improve business performance through the use of proven risk management tools and strategies. We also do financial modeling and risk analysis in support of business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, capital investment decisions, financial reporting, and litigation.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborating with colleagues to devise innovative solutions to client problems
* Working closely with clients to evaluate processes and controls, benchmark against leading risk management practices and recommend solutions
* Evaluating significant business challenges
* Independently gathering data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction and client site visits
* Assisting in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner
* Performing process and control analysis as well as analysis of process output data
* Developing new business through contributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
Requirements:
* Graduate Degree in Risk Management combined with Undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Finance, Management Science, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or other similar discipline from a nationally or internationally recognized and accredited college or university
* Minimum GPA of 3.2
* Graduation date between May 2009 and May 2010
* Minimum 2 years of relevant risk management, financial or accounting experience before obtaining upper-level degree
* Solid understanding of risk management concepts, processes and controls and leading practices.
* Enjoyment of applying qualitative and quantitative techniques to challenging, real-world problems
* Strong analytical, comprehension and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity
* Willingness to take initiative and responsibility, work independently and master new tasks quickly
* Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
* Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results
