Job Duties
Requires a Ph.D. in biology, preferably in plant biochemistry or chemical engineering and a publication record in international journals. Experience in two or more of the following areas are preferred: plant biochemistry, metabolic flux analysis, systems biology, and mass spectrometry. Skills in programming and using mathematics software (MatLAb) are desirable. The successful candidate will be part of an international team seeking to increase rapeseed oil yield using a systems biology approach and will focus on improving understanding of partitioning of carbon into oil production through the use of metabolic flux analysis and enzyme activity profiling.
