Description
* Develops and implements order processing and demand fulfillment process for a new consumer product line
* Establishes business process to link orders to and shipments from the China based ODM factory
* Develops supply and demand matching process and executes the process.
* Converts Marketing Forecast to ODM forecast and production plan.
* Manages Marketing and management approval process of the plan.
* Creates and manages the forecast with strategic component suppliers.
* Plans and purchases strategic parts for consignment to ODM.
* Works with ODM buyer to ensure availability of strategic parts.
* Expedites pull-ups and manage push-outs
* Provides management with status, impact analyses, and recommendations necessary to make decisions to resolve issues quickly
* Proactively identifies quality risks and linkages. Anticipates potential supply or excess inventory issues. Ensures contingency plans are created and proper coordination occurs. Recommends alternatives and trade-offs and ensures that decisions are made by the appropriate team, organization, or manager internally, with ODM, and service providers
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Demonstrated project management fundamentals experience including defining, scheduling, tracking, communicating status, and managing quality projects and developing quality processes. Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, negotiation, planning, organization, and facilitation skills internally, with ODM, and service providers.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor Business or Engineering degree required
* 5 years experience in Consumer Electronics
* MBA desired
Key Competencies
* Demonstrated supply chain experience introducing new products
* Demonstrated experience establishing and implementing product planning processes and strategies.
* Demonstrated experience working with Asia based partners.
