Panasonic North America is seeking to hire a full time Program Manager-Asset Management for the Information Services Division in Secaucus, NJ.
Job Overview:
Manages the Global IT Solutions Company - Americas (GISCAM) Asset Management Program. This includes: Personal Computer Life Cycle Program, Office Equipment Program, Data Center, Network and Voice Equipment, Other IT related Assets.
The Asset Management Program Manager provides for the overall delivery of asset management for IT assets. This position is responsible for establishing the asset related policy and procedures for maintaining an effective asset management program. Manages the relationship and service delivery quality of the 3rd party provider(s) for the services.
Process Management
· Promote and market asset management through out the GISC-AM region
· Responsible for all related documentation and user guides including web content
· Insure ongoing improvement in asset management
· Insure ongoing cost reduction through process efficiency
· Manage agreed to service levels between the customer (GISCAM) and the IT service provider
· Generate Monthly Asset Management reports
· Review and analyze reports for proper asset reporting and accuracy
· Develop and maintain the overall IT asset policy and procedures
· Insure that the processes are executed as published and to the stated service level
· Take corrective actions when service levels and processes are not met
· Escalate issue and problems to 3rd party vendor management and IT management
· Plan and execute the transition of personal computers to a managed outsourced program
· Plan and execute the transition of office equipment to a managed outsourced program
· Primary contact for 3rd party outsource providers of asset management services
· Oversees and coordinates the 3rd party vendor's activity and delivery of service
· Conduct asset reconciliation reviews eliminating inconsistencies
· Conduct asset process audits to evaluate the outsource providers process and controls

Program Manager Lead
· Expected to drive all Asset Management projects across PNA and IT department
· Manage the financial P&L as related to asset reporting and impact to the P&L
· Define SLA's for 3rd party vendor for IT assets. Pair with Plan & Control dept to develop contract agreements
· Make recommendations for meeting the established P&L as related to asset management
· Meet with IT asset owners and review their asset reporting
· Produce and review ad-hoc analysis reports related to asset management
· Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the IT asset management process and system (accurately report assets)
Communications
Coordinate and communicate policy/procedural changes with asset owners and GISCAM
Management
Participate with business management to insure the IT Portfolio is aligned with Business Requirements
Compliance
Insure compliance to all PNA & Panasonic Corporation policy and procedure including but not limited to SOX compliance.
Serve as liaison to internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with all Panasonic & regulatory management requirements.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: (complexity of problems and education/experience & other knowledge required)
Minimum 5 years of related experience. Experience with asset management is required. Experience with managing an outsourced provider is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related experience required.
Ability to identify, research and resolve issues and problems
Determine logical solutions using broad systems thinking. Be creative/innovative
Strong asset management skills
ITIL certification desired
PMP certification desired
Broad experience in IT functional areas and broad exposure to business operations
COMMUNICATIONS: (key communications contacts and level of persuasion required)
Regular communications with all levels of business unit and GISCAM IT management
The ability to influence and persuade management on areas of business improvement is a significant competency
