This position establishes business partnerships with targeted firms. Develops and drives execution of the business plans with partners to sell products and services to and through these channel partners. Deals directly with outside customers and business partners on day-to-day business matters to include sales, account management, coordination of necessary resources, and management of orders for products submitted under established business arrangements. Manages and develops a territory of assigned business partner accounts while developing new business partner accounts that align strategically with corporate goals. Integrates the partner and Peopleclicks selling organizations to meet the revenue objectives of the business plan. Gets involved in individual account selling transactions only as required to facilitate the transaction. Primary responsibility for the individual account selling activity belongs to the Account Executive. Obtains all signatures required for customer quotation and writes final quotation to customer. Sends product information to customers upon request. Surveys customers frequently for service satisfaction. Responsible for meeting specified sales quotas.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business or related field. If no degree, equivalent experience (1 year of experience = 1 year of college) will be considered.
Base:
Fully-qualified level handles moderately complex to complex problems and has latitude for independent judgment. Minimum three (3) years of software or related sales experience that includes developing and managing assigned territories. Good knowledge of strategic sales techniques. Good organizational, time management, and project management skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to develop and execute a business plan with each partner.
Senior:
Senior-level position acts as technical or team leader, handles complex problems regularly, has wide latitude for independent judgment, and acts as consultant to middle management. Minimum seven (7) years of software or related sales experience, including at least three (3) years of experience developing and managing assigned territories. Excellent knowledge of strategic sales techniques. Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills. Effective communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good leadership skills. Ability to develop and execute a business plan with each partner. Demonstrated merger and acquisition experience and skill.
