Description
Sears Holdings Management Corporation provides corporate services to Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) and its family of companies, including Sears Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Corporation. This position requires a strong Java developer with knowledge of J2EE development and Web Services. They will also be expected to mentor less experienced java developers in best practices and general Java understanding. Ongoing application support of existing applications will be required.Define technical solutions that align with the overall architecture strategy. Provides highly specialized technical and architecture design knowledge to teams internal and external to department. Assists project teams with troubleshooting and developing applications or business solutions that perform efficiently.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Performs systems analysis translating business requirements into technical solutions.2. Review requirements and define technical estimates based on resource availability, skill sets and priorities.3. Develop, install, and maintains business applications using structured development methodology working with cross functional teams.4. Participate in code walk throughs to ensure coding standards are adhered to.5. Ensures smooth transition of application into production through documentation and knowledge sharing.6. Collaborate with senior technical staff to understand and drive technical direction.7. Shares knowledge with other Developers to build bench strength.8. Assists in periodic system evaluation to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.9. Provides on-call support to ensure application availability. Technical Skills::1. Java J2EE.2.
