Description
Sears Holdings Management Corporation provides corporate services to Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) and its family of companies, including Sears Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Corporation.
This position is part of a group working on high priority, next generation capabilities and campaigns. This position has two key functions; the first is to work with the Account Managers to understand marketing strategy and the resulting campaign program requirements, and the second is to take the goals and requirements from business groups and build marketing campaigns using new cutting edge internal capabilities combined with Sears world class CRM tools. They will use a CRM Product (Unica's Affinium Campaign) to identify guests for suppression and inclusion from property direct marketing campaigns or other specific campaigns to meet property marketing needs. The Analyst will also work on other Affinium Campaign tasks which may include automated trigger campaign maintenance, test / control methodology, and defining and building simple to moderately complex queries. This role is ideal for candidates interested in direct marketing, database marketing, or analytic marketing.
Requirements:
Direct knowledge of marketing programs and marketing campaigns
Previous experience with Unica Affinium Campaign or other similar Campaign Management Software is preferred
Basic knowledge of data structures and relational databases
Willing to learn new technology and software applications used by Sears
Able to effectively communicate with the Account Managers to understand their requirements
Ability to adapt to a very fluid marketing environment, accept challenges and work proactively on marketing initiatives
Three to five years of marketing or financial analysis experience with strong analytical skills
Experience writing and/or understanding SQL statements OR previous Campaign design and execution with a campaign management solution application such as Unica is preferable
Experience with Campaign Management Software, Unica Preferred, Email marketing experience is prefered
MS Office, to include Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with strong Access and Excel experience is preferred
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Marketing
Strong oral and written communication skills
