This position is responsible for providing technical information, facilitation in the development and maintaining of quality systems within Manufacturing Departments. This individual will facilitate the implementation and monitoring of quality system, such as, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Quality Systems Audits by working with Operations Management in their respective Manufacturing Departments. This individual must demonstrate strong leadership, problem solving, communication and technical skills along with having a good understanding of juice/beverage processing systems, HACCP principles, Federal GMP regulations, statistical techniques, laboratory training, procedure writing, sanitation principles and quality systems.

This position will assist in facilitating the need for and the development of necessary procedures to meet required Company and Regulatory Agency requirements at present and in the future as systems mature and new systems are developed.

Provide assistance to Manufacturing Departments in the maintenance of Quality Systems. Facilitate in the resolution of Non-Compliances and issues identified through the Internal Quality Audit Program. This individual will also be involved with Quality Improvement Teams assisting in facilitation of continuous improvement opportunities identified.

Provide assistance to the Manufacturing Departments in the maintaining of their HACCP plans. Facilitate in the development and implementation of HACCP programs and conduct the HACCP auditing program in these areas. Facilitate in the resolution of HACCP deviations and issues identified through the HACCP audits.

Assist Manufacturing Teams by providing training such as, Quality Systems, SPC, HACCP, GMPs/sanitation.

Assist in the facilitation of continuous improvement teams to establish processes and procedures to drive to resolutions of systemic problems.

Partner with department managers to lead the process of organizational change with a focus on quality leadership continuous improvement, business results and quality conscience behavior.

Provide support in the use of business metrics, statistical methods and measures, formal problem solving tools to drive quality improvement efforts.

Develop and implement effective measurement systems that reflect the performance of our people, processes, and suppliers.

Develop and implement effective quality systems that support a proactive management, drive continuous improvement and support the reduction of process variation.

Assume other responsibilities and perform special functions as maybe assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

2 year college Degree.

3 years experience preferably in Quality or Manufacturing disciplines.

Knowledge of science/chemistry or citrus technology.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to lead teams and demonstrates effective people management skills.

Strong computer skills.

Self-motivator.

Solid organizational skills.

Detail and goal oriented.

Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Problem solving skills.

Decision making skills.

Familiarization with GMP and HACCP is recommended.

Willingness to work different shifts to learn total operations
