Description
Responsibilities:
* The purpose of the THIOPAVE SW USA Regional Manager position is to work with the THIOPAVE USA Business Manager to develop a plan of action for the S.W. USA geared to achieve Thiopave mix specification in the region, and upon completion of the plan, to implement it according to stated priorities and timelines.
* Plan implementation will include setting up meetings with the myriad of stakeholder groups in the region that govern and / or guide technical development of asphalt binder and asphalt mix performance standards.
* Position requires obtaining agreement to conduct Thiopave paving tests and managing their execution, and conducting follow-up meetings with the governing bodies/associations to achieve agreement to move forward with Thiopave specification
* The geographic scope of the THIOPAVE SW Coordinator responsibilities include the USA states of California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico as well as the provinces of BC and AB
* Supports EP objective of gaining new O&G development projects using the THIOPAVE technology advantage by helping to establish examples of major market acceptance/use of Thiopave
Requirements:
* Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
* Demonstrated experience successfully managing projects relating to setup and execution of paving trials.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Windows and Outlook
* Bachelors Degree
* Demonstrated experience in State Department of Transportation lobbying activities related to the introduction of new materials.
* Minimum five (5) years experience in the road asphalt paving industry performing a technical /and or marketing role.
