Description
Management of Integration Activities
* Responsible for the overall general program control and visibility, including schedule, action item list, and team support tools.
* Oversees program interface activities, including buyer interface, formal and working-level program meetings, and formal process & tools implementation.
* Oversee program test, validation, and integration activities, including laboratory management and support at airframe partner sites.
Interdepartmental Communication and Support
* Oversees order fulfillment activities, including supply chain management with OEM, partners, and vendors.
* Oversee all program partner and vendor interface activities.
* Oversee Fleet and product support activities, inc. training, ground support equipment, and spares.
Leadership
* Oversee all team leadership activities, including activities with product and engineering manager.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
* Proficient in the use of MS office suite of software applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, Project).
* Advanced experience using Microsoft Project is highly desired.
* Possess superb communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to effectively interact with customers and a diverse range of internal organizations.
* Strong team building and leadership skills.
* Ability to work well with people under pressure including people from diverse cultural and political backgrounds.
* Outgoing, self motivated, well organized and detailed oriented.
* Creative problem solver with the ability to resolve conflicts and filter conflicting agendas to determine best path forward a resolution.
* Having a wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
* Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
* Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. .
* Determines general methods and procedures for work and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
Qualifications
* BS degree highly desired or equivalent of 7-10 years work experience in engineering, software development, project engineering, system engineering.
* 4-5 years Project management experience.
* MBA highly desired.
* IFE and/or Passenger Seat experience highly desired.
* Ability to travel up to 40-80% to domestic and some international locations.
