Description

Responsibilities:

* Direct supervision of a team of Port Arthur Refinery (PAR) Maintenance Excellence (ME) work process focal point, cost leadership specialists, contract management supervisors and performance management specialists
* Accountable for meeting own functional budget
* Initiate waste elimination and lean maintenance diagnostic assessments for PAR maintenance activity and work directly with key stakeholders such as Maintenance Execution managers to implement gap closure plans
* Develop the performance management framework for PAR maintenance execution, including but not limited to, enhanced work processes, KPIs, scorecards and dashboards
* Chair the Monthly Maintenance Steering Team meeting, ensuring that objectives and synergies co-exist among Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability efforts
* Support PAR in delivering sustainable Solomon 1st Quartile Maintenance Index performance
* Champion Maintenance Benchmarking and performance measurement for PAR and build learning into structured improvement plans, including looking externally toward World Class performers for performance comparison and Best Practices
* Ensure PAR compliance with all Downstream-One, Global ME, and Global Manufacturing Team requirements
* Deliver work that meets Port Arthur's high standards for personal accountability in the areas of Safety and Environmental performance
* Accountable for team member development including developing and growing competencies, closing performance gaps and managing employee performance.

Requirements:

* Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a fulltime basis for anyone other then current employer
* Bachelors degree in Engineering or technical related field
* Minimum eight years experience in refinery or chemicals industry
* Minimum four years supervisory or management experience in refinery or chemicals industry
* Demonstrated evidence of developing improvement strategies in a refinery or chemicals position
