Prerequisites
Advanced Degree (MS, PharmD, PhD, MD) preferred
+ 2 or more years pharmaceutical industry research experience
OR
RN, BS/BA in a Scientific Discipline
+ 5 or more years pharmaceutical industry research experience

Summary
Celgenes Clinical Sciences Liaison Regional team is dedicated to Medical Affairs based initiatives that are focused on Community based practices. The project focus is on Outcomes and Late Phase Research. The territory for this field based position encompasses Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.
Responsibilities include:
1. Serving as the primary field based medical affairs representative within community based practices to support community focused medical affairs initiatives.
2. Identifying and developing relationships with key thought leaders relative to scientific initiatives within disease states of strategic importance for Celgene.
3. Identifying and profiling community based investigators and institutions in order to assess their ability to participate in observational registries, conducting investigator initiated trials, participating in company sponsored studies utilizing Celgenes pipeline compounds. and assisting in the recruitment of cooperative studies.
4. Conducting respective regional field management of Registry activities in a variety of health care organizations consisting of both academic and nonacademic medical centers.
5. Leading the regional fieldbased components of disease based project initiatives that would include site selection, building a strong scientific collaboration, and training on operational project aspects.
6. Providing suitable project-related scientific education at investigator sites.
7. Providing strategic scientific support and educational resources concerning Registry initiatives to further collaborate with investigators and other practitioners on the publication and presentation of clinical data and experiences developed from the disease registry database.
8. Working in conjunction with the Clinical Sciences Research Group, CROs, and inhouse personnel to align on all community based medical affairs initiatives.
9. Providing strategic input for on going registry activities to include: site training plans, support and communications, maintenance of the application, and ancillary registry initiatives (newsletters, data abstracts/manuscripts/presentations, public awareness activities and project expansion) to enable the development and coordination of the future registry strategy.
10. Working closely with large group practices to identify and support clinical pathway opportunities, therapeutic trends, and unmet needs within the appropriate disease states and respective regional marketplace.
Requirements:
? Advanced Degree preferred (MS, PharmD, PhD, MD), plus 2 or more years pharma industry
research experience OR RN, BS/BA in a Scientific Discipline and five or more years pharma
industry research experience OR equivalent.
? Demonstrated ability to review and converse about scientific data with KOLs.
? High level technical skills with demonstrated knowledge of Celgene compounds MOA and
all immunology components and processes associated with it.
? Ability to develop protocols and complete the clinical research process.
? Ability to establish relationships with top thought leaders across multiple specialties.
? Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and time management skills.
