Position Description:
Location: Wahiawa, Hawaii

Position Summary: The duties and responsibilities of the IT Management Specialist under the contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Provide Common Network Planning Software (CNPS) Subject Matter Expertise for the DOCS4 contract. Perform on site CNPS testing and develop CNPS related operating procedures for the filed Engineers. Provide CNPS technical support to the ITT trainers in the development and conduct of CNPS related training. Participate in CNPS conferences (telephonically or in person) at ITT or Government locations. Support military command, control, and communications systems for military satellites. Responsible for initial equipment fielding, testing, training, and repair of defense communications satellite control and monitoring equipment. Perform repair work under guarantee with initial fielded systems and be responsible for complicated repairs (demand and emergency maintenance) and reengineering of equipment and associated components. These systems are specifically designed, manufactured, and applied to the SC2C. These systems are unique in software configuration for use with the Department of Defense satellites. Install, test, train, and repair WANs and LANs composed of highly specialized equipment that interfaces with a variety of military and cryptographic equipment used to interface sites throughout the world via any combination of land lines, fiber optics, or satellite links.

Experience Requirements:
Education: Associate's degree or vocational trainining in a related field required.

Experience: Minimum of seven years related experience required.

Special Requirements: Manage the DOCS4 Contractor Skills Assurance Program (CSAP) including scheduling, availability of training courses, completion of prerequisite classes, administration of certification test, and maintaining certification records to include uploading the certification to the DOCS4 Website. Provide the Government with analyses and recommendations to ensure items necessary for full mission capability are maintained and are meeting technical requirements as determined in Government manuals, vendor manuals, and contractor-provided specifications. Implement the contractor's quality control program ensuring C4I system hardware and software integrity and validity. Direct testing to verify that equipment meets established specifications. Knowledge of WSOC systems a plus.

Security Clearance: Applicant must be able to secure and maintain a United States Department of Defense security clearance at the Top Secret Level. As a contractor to the United States Department of Defense, applicant must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position.
