Overview:
Amazon's Computers & Accessories group is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working candidate to join our merchandising team as a Merchandising Specialist to assist with marketing, merchandising and in-stock management. The Merchandising Specialist position offers an exciting opportunity with a Fortune 500 company and diverse exposure for future success.
This role will work directly with multiple retail teams, including In-Stock Managers, Vendor Managers, and Site Merchandisers to optimize Amazon.com for a specific vendor's product line. In addition to marketing and inventory tasks, the Merchandising Specialist will produce content for Amazon's product pages, track search trends and manage email programs. They will conceive, create, analyze and report on a wide range of marketing and merchandising efforts and help shape the vendor's merchandising strategy on Amazon.com. Additional inventory management responsibilities will be to monitor and track in-coming purchase orders and to ensure timely receipt of goods as well as product forecasts. The Merchandising Specialist will work closely with one key vendor and at the end of the day, your leadership and action will have a major impact on the vendor's success on Amazon.com.
Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online retail, marketing strategy and have passion for customer experience. They will be proactive, a strong communicator, a proven team contributor, analytical in decision making, a superior multi-tasker. Proficiency with a varied set of software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel, and SQL) is required. This position also necessitates professional presentation and account management skills. Experience in marketing or merchandising is essential to your success, as is a passion for consumer electronics, particularly computers and technology. Ability to speak Mandarin strongly preferred.
