Description
Senior level position responsible for technical expertise with the Ventyx Asset Suite / PassPort product to provide application support and development needs in support of ongoing IT projects for the Nuclear business. Position will require expert troubleshooting skills and may involve technical and/or functional guidance and mentoring to project or work teams as needed. Successful candidate will have 8-10 years technical experience with Oracle-based applications in a Unix environment. Knowledge of the Nuclear business is a plus. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Will consider candidates with similar skills and experience who may lack specific PassPort or Nuclear knowledge who possess a strong aptitude and willingness to learn. Position requires 24 X 7 callout support for system emergencies, as necessary.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's - Computer Sciences
* 8-10 years of PassPort and/or Asset Suite experience
* Strong knowledge of relational databases, Oracle SQL, and SQL tuning
* Self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
* Team player able to learn quickly and work collaboratively across teams
* Fluent understanding of the complete software development lifecycle
* Highly motivated to expand their technical and business knowledge and understanding
* Knowledge of Nuclear business desired but not required
Work Schedule
M-F 8AM-5PM with occasional travel to nuclear sites, as necessary.
