Description
As part of our drive for operational performance improvement, you'll bring the skills to strengthen our nuclear oversight function. Ambitious, driven and a leader, you will lead audits and surveillances that are performance based and risk-informed assessments within Engineering and Technical programs. Your goal will be to identify station gaps to industry best practices, and compliance shortfalls to regulations before gaps and shortfalls become self revealing. You will enjoy the freedom to make a big impact on the way we work.
Extensive experience of influencing high levels of performance in nuclear power plant operations will stand you in excellent stead, as will excellent critical analytical skills. Outstanding communications skills (accurate, timely, clear and concise) will also form the cornerstone of your success, as you build effective relationships with those around you to establish networks and gather/share intelligence. First-class influencing skills and a sound knowledge of relevant processes and safety procedures will also go a long way with us.
* Extensive experience of nuclear power plant management operation, maintenance, engineering or technical support
* Proven, successful track record of influencing high levels of performance in nuclear power plants
* Excellent critical analytical skills for performance observation
* Clear, concise communication skills for delivering verbal or written feedback in a simple manner
* Ability to build relationships and team working at all levels in the organization in order to quickly establish networks and optimize their use for gathering and sharing intelligence
* Ability to challenge in a constructive manner
* Ability to coach at all levels
* High standards in the conduct of nuclear power operations
* Ability to access Radiologically Controlled Areas for equipment assessments
Qualifications
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum 7 years broad commercial nuclear experience in engineering and operations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule
Normally 9 day in 2 weeks 0700-1630. Some weekends and nights during outages.
