Position Description:
ITT Corporation currently has an opening in their Herndon office for a Software Engineer/ Enterprise Architecture. This position involves designing and developing software for enterprise systems.
Candidate must be well versed in the latest cutting edge enterprise technology and industry standard solutions. Qualified individuals will serve the role of technical advisor for several projects related to service oriented architecture and web-based application development. Candidate will recommend key technologies and instruct small engineering teams on how to properly use them. Selected candidate will contribute to all phases of the software lifecycle, including proposals.
Experience Requirements:
10 years minimum experience in a software engineering related field including first-hand experience designing and deploying enterprise systems.
Education: Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems. Candidates with M.S. degrees in a software related discipline will also be considered.
Although this position does not require an active security clearance a TS/SCI is preferred.
