Description
Job Description The MS Educator works closely with healthcare professionals to improve the management of multiple sclerosis as well as provide general MS education directly to patients in non-office environments.
The MS Nurse Educator will perform the following in the Atlanta District (Territories include: Atlanta, Macon, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Birmingham, AL):
Improve treatment adoption of Extavia.
Improve nurse and office staff understanding regarding the treatment of MS.
Generate awareness of MS, Extavia and Novartis among MS stakeholders
Help facilitate and act as liaison with the Extavia distribution process
Act as key resource for Sales Specialists, Area Sales Managers and other Novartis personnel around the treatment of MS (e.g. potential training resource
Interact with health care professionals to educate them on MS and promote Extavia in MD offices, group practices, hospitals, and local MS Centers of Excellence. (Specifically, nurse to nurse training and promotion).
Work with field force
Conduct MS educational seminars at multiple venues.
Work with local sales specialists and managers to ensure Extavia distribution processes runs smoothly. Where needed, work with Extavias distribution supplier to coordinate solutions to any challenges or issues.
