Description
The IT Nuclear Technology Analyst's role is to strategically design and implements information systems and networked software architectures that support core organizational functions, and assure their high availability. This individual will gain organizational commitment for all systems and software plans, as well as evaluate and select all technologies required to complete those plans. This individual utilizes expert knowledge of one or more major components of information technology to recommend solutions as they relate to current and future business environments. Lead in planning, design, configuration and operations of information systems. He/she might be responsible for the day to day operations of the Process Control Systems.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of system hardware, software, and operating systems, including UNIX, Windows and Mainframe
In-depth technical knowledge of Enterprise Applications, networks, and protocols.
Hands-on experience with application development tools and processes, including system development life cycle.
Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required.
Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to apply statistical and other research methods into systems issues and products are required
Knowledge of software applications
Working knowledge of programming languages (ForTran), network, operating systems and standards
Highly self-motivated and directed
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
Work Schedule
Alternate Work Schedule M-Th 7:00-4:30; F 7:00-3:30; Every other Friday off
