Sears Holdings Management Corporation provides corporate services to Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) and its family of companies, including Sears Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Corporation. This strategic technology executive is responsible for overall management of the Technology Division, including direct oversight of Information Technology, Development, Data Services, Security and Compliance. Plans and directs the technology activities of the organization. Provides strategic and operational leadership to the technology functions and acts as a key advisor to the Companys senior management team. Ensures the Companys technology platforms, products and services are robust, solidly built, and maintained with a constant eye incorporating future industry developments. Coordinates the creation, development, design and improvement of company products in conformance with established programs and objectives.Develop and implement long-term strategies and objectives for the eCommerce IT functions that supports the companys vision, mission and values and long-term objectives. Ensures that technology is relevant, supports revenue generation initiatives is scalable and robust. Establish technology policies, processes, organization structure and programs to support and achieve eComemrce vision and objectives. Ensure the planning, execution, deliverables and quality assurance of all services or products acquired through consultants meets or exceeds standards. Prepare operational schedules and coordinate activities to ensure successful eCommerce launches. Develop, maintain and test an enterprise-wide business recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of technology services and in the event of a disaster. Create and effectively use performance measurements to quantify and benchmark technology productivity, effectiveness and customer service levels. Confer with other IT and business departments as necessary to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions. Identify emerging technologies, assess their applicability to the business needs and develop proposals on applying new technology solutions to take advantage of new business opportunities. Continuously improve technology costs through the application of new tools, processes, practices and outsourcing. Develop direct reports to increase the bench strength and flexibility of the technology function. Ensure that all technology employees receive appropriate training and resources to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently. Work closely with executives in other functions (e.g. Marketing, Operations, Merchandising, Human Resources, Finance, Procurement and Legal), as well as with senior management team to ensure strategic goals of the business are achieved.Effectively manage third party relationships and off-shore resources 1.   Seasoned technology executive demonstrating progressively responsible career growth. 2.   Strong knowledge in XP and Agile methodology. 3.   Strong knowledge in J2EE, Java and Open Source Technologies.4.   Demonstrated success showing commitment to team accomplishments as well as individual responsibilities.5.   Bachelor''s degree in computer science, specialized computer systems training, or equivalent.  Masters degree is desired.6.   Minimum of ten years project management experience or equivalent.7.   Minimum of six years experience in preparing capital budgets, planning procedures, and capacity planning. 8.   Knowledgeable of, and can apply, industry best practices for all applications or technical areas managed.9.   Knowledgeable of current technologies such as personal computing, client/server, relational database and graphical user interface.10.   Demonstrated ability to be productive in a fast-moving environment where coping, tolerance for ambiguity and common sense is required.11.   Demonstrated success showing commitment to team accomplishments as well as individual responsibilities.12.   Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.13.   Strong oral and written communication skills.14.   Ability to relate efficient and effective systems solutions to diverse and complex business/technical problems.A comprehensive and competitive benefit program is designed to meet the needs of our associates and their families.
