Required Qualifications
1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Keyboarding skills, 150.0 keystrokes per minute (typing 30 wpm).
3. Experience in on-line entry via PC.
4. One (1) year experience professional telephone communication skills as demonstrated through prior positions held.
5. One (1) year experience in direct public contract as demonstrated through prior positions held.
6. Demonstrated experience and ability in business letter composition.
7. Demonstrated experience in independently researching and resolving problems as demonstrated through prior positions held.
8. Experience in operating office equipment/machines (i.e. copier, calculator and facsimile).
9. Experience with claims format and coding currently in use as demonstrated through prior positions held.
10. Medical terminology as demonstrated through prior positions held or course work
11. Demonstrated benefit interpretation skills.
12. Above average math skills as demonstrated through prior positions held.
