Description
During one of more contract assignments will be responsible for all aspects of application integration including detailed design, development and implementation of application integration technologies - AI technologies include web services, enterprise messaging services (ESB), data mapping tools, data transport and parsing as well as ETL tools.
Responsibilities
Perform analysis and design for Application Integration or ETL effort within scope.
Provide DataStage ETL AND/OR WebSphere MQ ESB expertise, admin, configurations, maintaining standards and support as needed.
Participate in implementation, including maintenance, user allocation, file design, coding, error removal, logic optimization, systems re-evaluation, testing, user approval, final corrections, and program and run time documentation.
Write, debug, diagram, code, and document programs.
Accountable for software design and quality.
Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
Qualifications
3+ years experience with DataStage ETL AND/OR similar tool(s).
Experience with Java, JMS, MQ Series, SOAP, XML schema, Xpath, Hibernate, iBatis.
C# (.NET) development experience a plus but not required.
Background with Amberpoint, Systinet, Datapower a plus but not required.
Must be available on a contractual basis.
Contract to Hire status is highly preferrable but not required.
