Description
During one or more contract engagements will act as the liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. This position understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and is able to translate those requirements into solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Responsibilities
Responsible for gathering business and systems requirements from project stakeholders.
Champion improvement, adoption, implementation, and execution of processes.
Facilitate joint application design and knowledge transfer sessions with business functional areas in order to secure buy-in and sign-off for deliverables.
Support the develop of training materials on software and hardware on-site or recommend outside contractors to provide technical training.
Actively participate in the portfolio evaluations and reviews.
Work closely with project, systems, business and quality assurance stake holders.
Participate in project/requirements tools evaluations, demonstrations and selection.
Qualifications
5+ years combined technical and business analysis experience.
Experience creating use cases, process flows, swim lanes and other related artifacts.
Experience creating and maintaining relationships with business and technology contacts.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem diagnosis and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple concurrent efforts.
Ability to conceptualize and think creatively.
Ability to be persuasive.
Ability to effectively translate between business and technical language.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fastpaced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment.
Experience with SDLC is preferrable.
Experience in .NET development is preferrable.
Experience with SOA is preferrable.
Must be available on a contractual basis.
Contract to Hire status is highly preferrable but not required.
