An Assistant Category Manager is responsible for managing buying functions in a particular category. The Assistant Category Manager is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of business Standards of Operations and provides support to Merchandising Leadership in conducting effective strategies for increasing profitability while improving top line sales. The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of analytical reporting tools to include but not limited to: store operations, staff performance metrics, and key performance indicators/scorecards Bachelor’s degree is required with a preference towards advanced experience in retail operations and sales.
